The following Terms and Conditions apply to the THiNK Values charity initiative website (“the website”).
The site content is aimed at secondary (13-18 year old) students and teachers (18 years old plus) of English.
Teachers may download the lesson activity pdf (adapted from THiNK) from the THiNK Values charity initiative site as a free teaching resource. Cambridge University Press must be cited when using this resource.
Upload a portrait photo of yourself to the website, and we will donate £0.50 to The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). A THiNK powder-paint visual and ‘I’m supporting access to education’ statement will be added to your photo during the upload.
If you choose to share your uploaded photo from the website to your chosen social media channel (via the sharing page on the website), we will donate an additional £0.50 to UNICEF per social channel.
Teachers may also upload photos of their students to the website and share them on their chosen social media channel (via the sharing page on the website) if they have received express consent from the students to be photographed, for their photos to be uploaded to the website, and for their photos to be shared via social media.
Your photo will appear in an overall gallery page on the website.
You may only upload one photo to the website.
You may only upload a photo if you are over the age of 13. Teachers may not upload photos of any students under the age of 13.
By uploading your photo:
you consent to have your name and photo publically displayed on the website gallery and on our social media channels and in other promotional materials;
you confirm that the photo is your original copyright work or that you have an express license and authority from the copyright owner to submit the photo and that the photo is of yourself and not of any other individual;
you grant us a perpetual, worldwide licence to use, adapt and reproduce the photo in any medium and warrant that you have the relevant authority, licence and permission to grant such a licence;
you agree to participate in all related publicity as may reasonably be requested by us, including but not limited to: press, print and online publicity (which shall include publication of your photograph);
you permit us to contact you from time to time by email with details of other products and services that may be of interest to you in the subject of English Language Teaching. You have the option to unsubscribe if you wish to do so; and
you permit us to transfer your personal data to other Cambridge branches throughout the world, namely Asia, Latin America North, Latin America South, North America, India, Africa, Iberia. You should be aware some branches of Cambridge are in countries which do not have data protection laws.
Upload of your photo to the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
